ProGineer Technologies CEO, took part in the Swiss-Palestinian Tech Encounter
Mr. Omar Kamal, the CEO of ProGineer Technologies, took part in the Swiss-Palestinian Tech Encounter held on May 9 in Ramallah. During the event, Mr. Kamal contributed to a panel discussion where he emphasized the significance of the tech industry for the Palestinian economy. He highlighted various success stories that have emerged over the years and acknowledged the remarkable diversity and resilience demonstrated by the Palestinian tech engineers.
The Swiss delegation included about 30 C-Level executives hailing from different fields of the Swiss tech world, most notably in the field of cybersecurity.
Thanks to the Representative Office of Switzerland in Ramallah for organizing this event and thanks to the distinguished Palestinian panel for their work in their respective fields.

Bits & Bytes Hackathon
As part of the Bits & Bytes Hackathon workshop series organized by the NGATE Center for Innovation and Technology at An-Najah National University, ProGineer Technologies held a specialized training workshop for computer engineering and computer science students in the job market entitled “Problem Solving in the Workplace”, presented by Engineer Adham Nasser.
Birzeit University partners with Palestinian technology firms to establish and run design verification lab
Birzeit University signed agreements with three leading Palestinian technology companies to establish and run a specialized very-large-scale integration (VLSI) labon university grounds. The companies – ASAL Technologies, ProGineer Technologies, and Exalt Technologies – will work together with electrical and computer engineering students and graduates and offer them opportunities to gain experience and work with state-of-the-art technologies – keeping in mind the current requirements of today’s semiconductor industry.
